MMA is not a sport it is a style of fighting...that is like saying jump shooting is a sport (ref. Basketball) it is a style of shot not the sport...

MMA is all the styles of fighting combined into one to make a top fighter....and if you have watch any MMA boughts or fights it takes alot of knowledge and skill to last in the octagon. Just like it takes skill/knowledge to predict a oppentes next move in basketball game. but to say MMA is not a sport...wow....your just wrong there partner.

I do wat UFC, and IFC these are both leagues of fighting sports...they might differ from boxing or karate but they are still fighting sports...

Once again MMA is a style in the UFC league...that is why fighters can have a 10-2 W/L record and a 8-2 MMA W/L record. I am not saying UFC, IFC is crap I am saying that your statment is wrong...I watch UFC all the time, and still think they should go back to when your could head butt, kick while the opponet is down and use no gloves.

okay okay its a "style of fighting" I see your point there....its still a sport though! eh...I kinda like the no head butting and no kicking while on the ground...if they add head butting in I can just see all the "no contests" rack up fighter a headbutts fighter b fighter b is KOed by fighter a's headbutt but in the process fighter a KO's himself lol be kinda funny to watch though....matt hammal got robbed
