Default NFL Draft...

It surprises me that nobody has started a thread about this. At XGP this would have been a mile long already...anyways...

I am quite content with what my Browns did! I think trading away the #1 for next year may have been a little steep, I'm glad we have someone to build on now. Beef up that OL a little more and things may shape up for us...finally!

What really excites me is with Quinn wanting to come to Cleveland, I know he will be there playing with his heart and soul.

Some quotes from Yahoo Sports...

"The biggest day of his life quickly became a nightmare for the 22-year-old, who ran around his backyard as a boy pretending he was Browns iconic QB Bernie Kosar slinging touchdown passes in front of an imaginary Dawg Pound."

"Not long after being picked by the Browns, Quinn was whisked to Cleveland in one of owner Randy Lerner's private jets. He arrived at the team's headquarters late Saturday night, weary from a long, emotional day.
But when he walked through the front doors for the first time as a Brown, all the anxiety and embarrassment he may have felt in New York were replaced by a soothing calm. Quinn knew he was home."

"It felt amazing," he said. "In the draft, after I got passed by the Browns, I didn't think they were going to come back and get me."

"Once I got here, it felt real."

Nah, the Pats are taking several real chances this offseason. There be some headcases in their locker room this year. They could go either way, but I don't think they go to Arizona.

Maybe, and maybe not. All I really care about, is for them to beat the Colts the first time they play....bad too.

I'm a Ten fan(College, go Vols) so when P. Manning came through, I was hoping to god we would pull out a nat. championship, but no.....He couldn't do it, it took a first year starter the year after he left to win the Nat. Championship.

I haven't liked him ever since; and now he wins the Super Bowl? Ugh..

You cant blame all that on one person. It wasn't all Peyton's fault that Florida always beat Tennessee while he was there. I remember one where the offense and him put up 37 or so on Florida, which would normally allow a team to win....

...except when Florida puts up 62 on the defense.

I fail to see how Peyton can be blamed for that. He did his part, the D didn't do their part.

The people who referred to Peyton Manning as a choker have forgotten that football is a team sport. Until Peyton Manning is playing every spot on Offense AND Defense, it would be unfair to solely blame him for a TEAM's mis-steps.

Well the quarterback is considered the "Team leader" or "The coach on the field" and Peyton just didn't have it while he was at Tenn. Whereas the guy who came the year after he left, with virtually the same team, led the team to absolute victory.

It is funny now though, that I can't even remember the QB's name, but everyone in the nation knows Peyton as a top 3 calibur QB in every department....well, maybe not running

I am however, extremely excited to see Tom Brady this year, I'm reaaaaly hoping he puts up another 4,000 yard season.

Tee Martin also had the benefit of a team that had a year's more experience...

With Moss gone, slightly better, but Im not sure how much of a line hes going to get. Him and Dominic Rhodes are going to have a rough year.
