Yep, bears deserved it. They endured a lot of hate and criticism all year, despite being the best team in the nfc from week 1 til now.

Bush is an idiot for turning around and taunting the D, he learned his lesson, because they saints offense was shut out from that point on.

LOL @ P... In hindsight he's an idiot IYO cause they lost the game but when the play was made, it was pretty snazzy. Taunting is something that's part of football and sports altogether. "He shouldn't have..." Why? Dude made a great play, great read, great move and burned some dudes...and he's an idiot? Come on now...

Raf, you are just tryin to make trouble. Listen, its one thing to dance, its one thing to celebrate a score. Its another thing to do stuff like celebrate on someones midfield logo. Its also not typical to turn around during a play and taunt players behind you by pointing at them. That doesnt happen often because its showing people up in a disrespectful way. At times guys slow down to almost a walk, or do that little sideways deion sanders skip to the endzone. But to turnaround like that, during the play, and point at All Pro defenders, a defensive player of the year, especially being a rookie in the leaugue.....

come on raf. Disagree if you will, fine. Still, taunting the D the way he did it was some bush league stuff, and it only hurt them more than it did anything else by getting the D more angry.

I could only imagine had a guy like T.O. did this.....

I'm not trying to make trouble man. I'd be saying the same thing had the Bears' Bernard Berrian burned a Saints defender and taunted him the same way. I'd be saying the same thing regardless of who was playing. If anything...you're being a little sensitive to my words cause it's dealing with your Bears. Don't take it that way. And if you aren't...which I have a feeling you're going to say...fine then. I won't argue. I just think saying he's an idiot is going a little far. Had the Bears lost...would he be an idiot still? That's why I say in hindsight and after the fact that they lost is he an idiot in your opinion.

it has nothing to do with who won or loss, i have no clue why you have brought that into the discussion and are trying to relate this or my comments to that. I can't relate the two, i guess that shows where your thoughts are, maybe its importatnt to you.

And maybe you're being sensitive to my words. Let me change it, he's not an idiot, i'll say "he was stupid for taunting a good defense like that". You usually don't want to give anyone extra motivation, especially a defense that can hit you.

And again, the way he taunted IMO was bush league. He's a rookie, hasn't accomplished all that much in the league yet. I think that part (turning around and pointing) was uncalled for.

Why have I brought it into discussion? Well...the following statement was the reason. There's that clue. There's that reason I segragate the two.

So, had the Saint's offense not been shut out from that point on, would Bush not have been an idiot for taunting the way he did? That's what I got out of it. It's all good...you probably meant to say something different, that he's an idiot for doing that, period...not because of the outcome.

But hey, in regards to that discussion we're having over at the Go Colts Go thread about the pressure and what not. Take a look at nfl.com and their poll. See how 90% f the pressure is off. I agree with the poll. Not that it should be the most popular storyline...but rather how it's a significant weight off his and the Colts shoulder to have finally gotten in. I see a parallel with how it played out with Steve Young.
