Default Raf trades football....

NFL football for MLS Football. Screw it... I'm thinking...."I've been watching football for 20 years now, hoping to death that I see a football championship for Houston. First with the Oilers and now with the Texans. Things look promising at times with the Texans...and at other times...it doesn't. Now...this new team, Dynamo, come to Houston and do this? Football is football right?"...while licking my wounds....

I hear ya. The thread was posted up as a knock on myself though....kind of a self-inflicting blow, in a joking manner. Just FYI. :embarass:

fair enough. but they'll get there eventually, just bare out the crap seasons (ala early 90s eagles, early 90s flyers, current flyers, phillies at all ****ing times, sixers except for the season that got to the finals only to be stomped by lakers) and be there for the good ones. at least this football's short season don't leave much to anguish over, i feel.

You were the main reason as to why I posted this up. I though you would have come up with something better than that.....I expected worse. Ahh well...time to move on.

No kidding man... Seeing them Dynamo win....I said, "Great!", sarcastically...

Rockets go to the playoffs. That's cool and all. Astros go to World Series....that's cool as well, real cool. Dynamo win it all, in the shiutty MLS league....aight. But man....I'd go ballistic seeing the Texans even get into the playoffs alone. That's what I hope to see first, playoffs....not asking much. We'll worry about winning one when we get there.

lol MLS is the CFL of Soccer.. I personally don't watch it at all.. I listen to the premier league games sometimes on Sirius.. but you really don't get how bad MLS when you haven't seen many if any international games

the dynamo winning must have been like abreu-howard winning the home run derby in consecutive years. you enjoy it so little you're almost bitter that it ever happened because it's like god's throwing you a consolation prize.
