How are the rankings going to work?

not sure...that's the beauty of being here before things go public..you can suggest pretty much whatever and have it considered...

right now i just changed things to a military feel...so you're a private first class, next you'll be lance corporal, then corporal, then sergeant..etc...

what did you have in mind for the post count?

yeah it's nice..and it'll stay that way believe me...these forums have so many admin things for each forum it's crazy...we can narrow down the "problem" forums if there ever are any and lock down on what is posted with the post approval thing i talked about....

anyway...for a lance corporal it's 100 posts...corporal takes 300....to get sergeant it's 500...gunnery sergeant is 1000..i stopped at gunnery sergeant to see how people felt about the military rankings..(which i think are cool)

...and dont allow people to make their own custom ranks. Its nice but lets keep the military field.

Maybe custom ranks for those that break the 5 star general ranks, 100000+ posts.

That'll be damn near impossible, especially with certain forums not counting towards your post count!

Any OT forums probably wont count towards post count. It keeps teen spam assasains at a minimum.

yeah that would be cool!! i thought for sure you were gonna say something about why i left off Staff Sgt lol

i just thought it was the "in-between" rank that no one really wants...Gunny is much more powerful...do u think i should add Staff Sgt though? I'm gonna leave out Master Sgt as well...First Sgt is way better as you know.

no I think that is a good idea, lol just get to the good ones!

Will you have Sgt Maj. before going into the Officer side?
I think that would be good becuase you know top of the enlisted and the Super mega posters can be an officer. Know what I mean?
