Default World Trade Center - The Movie

I just got back from teh theatre. I thought it was beautiful, anyone else who saw it, what did you think, if you didnt, go see it and come back. People over the age of 20 will be more appreciative of the film, I was only 12 when the USA was attacked, it didnt hit me as hard. My dad left the movie and cried. Strong film, was more of a memorial then an actual movie.

People fear Nick Cage and the Mustache... tbh he almost never talks in the entire movie, it goes pretty fast...

I don't plan on seeing it.

In my honest opinion that movie is nothing but a capitalistic ploy to use a tragic event to make money.

You mean like every other movie with a 'based on real events' plot?

I have no intention of ever seeing it. Several reasons.

Reason 1, I can't stand Nic Cage movies anymore. He's just turned into total crap. The last movie he made that I liked was Leaving Las Vegas.

Reason 2, on this particular topic I'd prefer to stick to documentaries. I don't want to see any dramatizations about 9/11.

Reason 3, isn't this an Oliver Stone film? That should be reason enough not to see it.

It would be better if they would donate a lot of the money they make off the film to the memorial or at least to something in relation to 9/11. At this moment they are doing nothing, so I agree this movie is not worth seeing if my money is not going to a cause that supports it.

If Angelina Jolie can get hollywood to take part of the movie profit and donate it to parts of Africa. Then the why hell can they not at least donate this to a charitable foundation for the victims?
