Left For Dead Gripes

A few points i would like to address about L4D, based solely off the demo.

-The reload animations; christ come on, this isn't 1998 HL1 mod.
-The weapon skins; too basic and generic. Yes i've seen that the L4d shottys look the same from the auto and pump from CS:S (i.e. some form of originality).


Other than that, the atmosphere and gameplay are pretty legit. It's something different than your CoD4.

Then again i can see the "kill shitton zombies, run to safe room" getting played out, especially if you only play the co-op.

Yet it's stupid little shit like above that makes me say "WTF, and your releasing this?"

One thing that I'm hugely disappointed in is that you don't see anyones flashlight. Gabe Newell said how important it would be to see them and early gameplay footage showed other flashlights. I'm not sure if the demo is an old build or what...
