L4D Demo Server Available!!!!!

Those of us fortunate enough to have pre-ordered L4D (panda hugs&kisses) already have access to teh demo (which is pants filling in all ways)

My old CS:S server is dead *sob* and the new L4D server *Yay* is up!

you need to enable your developers console and type "connect 63.238.29.1" (without the quotes) and your in a expert mode of the demo.

Tell me how it is...be as descriptive as possible, I cant run L4D on my computer but I have plenty of lotion and Kleenex......

Long time no see guys. I've been playing L4D, and it has (so far) lived up to what it's promised. There are a few bugs here and there but hopefully it'll get fixed by the time the full game comes out.

OK - quick update to the server!
Panda and Gnome tested and destroyed me playing 2v2 zombie vs humans.
If you connect to my server heres some useful commands if you want to try as a zombie:

1. From the starting screen, click Options, then Mouse/Keyboard, and enable the developer console.

2. Start a single player game and open your console with the ~ key.

3. Type "sv_cheats 1" and press enter. This will enable cheat mode.

4. Type "ent_fire !self setteam 3" and press enter. When you close the console, you will "die" and join the Infected team!

You get to choose where to spawn as a baddie! Press E to cycle through some suggested spawn locations, or to teleport directly to the survivors if you get too far away before spawning. But the next problem is that the AI controlled survivors will not leave their starting room and the game will not start on its own.

5. Open the console and type "director_force_versus_start 1" and enter to begin the round.

The survivors will start hacking their way through the apartment building and you finally get to try your zombie character!

6. When you die (and you probably will), you will not respawn. Press space to cycle through different spectating modes till you are in in free flight mode. You must then use these commands in the console WHILE DEAD.

z_spawn tank
z_spawn boomer
z_spawn smoker
z_spawn hunter

These will spawn you as that infected at the spot you are currently "flying" while dead.
Additional Commands:
z_spawn mob (Call a horde of zombies.)
The subway can be played by using this console command:

sb_all_bot_team 1

You DO NOT need to use the other "director_force_versus_start 1" command with this, the bots will go on their own and unlike forcing versus mode.... the game will reset when they die.

Also on the ghost command:

ghost - spawns you as a Hunter default
ghost boomer - Spawns you as a boomer
ghost smoker - Spawns you as a smoker

To spawn as a Tank you have to use the "z_spawn tank" command.
