Wasn't this fired up like a month ago, but it takes months to get to full power to be activated?

Also theirs the one in a billion chance this could tare our dimension apart. If I were the one to first active it I'd quote Dirty Harry.

There was a lot of talk about this on the Swiss radio last week. It's quite interesting to hear the different stories.

I actually live quite close by the CERN site. As the ring is 27 miles long (or wide, I don't actually know), it may well be that it runs under our house or so.

So if something happens, I would probably be one of the first once to know...

Ah, so that's why the corporation you r working for, wanted you to relocate from Netherlands to Switzerland to take on a new opportunity since nobody else wanted to do it :-)
