Summer Jobs

Summers ending in like 2 days for me and I dropped my summer job. So I was wondering what the my bros around GS have done for jobs. The worst? The best? They don't have to be summer jobs but any.

This summer I did deck work like repairing, cleaning, and staining. The bad part was that it was in the sun for 6 hours straight 3-5 days a week. Most decks don't have trees above them so the sun was always beating down. But the pay was worth it at the end of the week.

Funnest job besides teaching was my paper route as a teen. Worst job besides car sales was furniture re-manufacturing. Suxors big time!

I have had several summer jobs. Two interesting ones were driving cars of a huge ship in the Amsterdam harbor, clean them, put car radio's atec. in and make them ready for onward shipping to dealers (I did that for about 3 weeks, after which I was fired because I made an accident), and driving a hefftruck at a carton board factory, making piles of 10 pellets high without them falling over (and sometimes they did fall over, which really was scary if you were drinving underneath them).

Other jobs entailed bulb plucking (very popular in the Netherlands) and typically cleaning and newspaper delivery things. Oh, and I did some administrative jobs as well, which were very uninteresting.

Summer jobs suck. I'm working for a city up here in Woodland. I'm their main cad intern. Basically anything that needs to be CADDed and they don't want to pay the big dogs money to do it, I have to. But at the same time, I'm in charge of pretty damn big projects... So it's all in good money, not fun.
