This place is dead. D-E-A-D.
I logged on the other day, and the most recent post was 8 hours previously. Before that, it was two days. And we don't even have smileys to express our true pain with. I think it's pretty clear Simon has moved on from these forums. It's too bad, considering the community we had going on.
I dunno. Maybe I'm just depressed. Or hungry.

I don't think it's dead.. It's decreasing but there are a lot of categories on the forum that don't really see much activity such as the Enemy Territory: Quake Warsforum which hasn't seen any new posts since July.I think it just needs a bit of a mix up really.

This is all I read anymore. got tired of answering the same freaking 10 questions in 2142. COD4 doesn't have buggy issue other than cheap load-outs, and nobody plays any other games we have. BF2 doesn't count it's dead. Oh and ditto TF2 for COD4 except better balance. But what's to say there? Just play and have fun -simple really.

What this place needs is an owner who takes it serious. Or at least a group of admins willing to shine it up a bit.
If we could just get some fresh input here, I'm sure we could get this place rocking like it used to. And maybe then we'd catch Simon's attention again. Getting new people here is just damn difficult, when suggestions about new forums are met with a "shouldn't you post a little more about the game first", and suggestions about improvements for the site are met with a "I'll do it whenever I feel like it"
I really miss the community here, but this place just feels... abandoned...

what this place needs is a new game. video game, not forum game. when 2142 came out, i had to refresh as soon as i posted, to keep up.

then it died.

then talks of bf3 came out, and this place was busy once again.

no games, no interest. thats the catch-22 of having forums based around video games.
