Ron Paul is screechy and also old.
I wouldn't vote for McCain because he's like the second oldest person ever. Honest. Voting for him would be voting for whoever he chooses as his running mate cause you know he's not gonna last.

As a foreigner, I can only judge on what I see from the outside. Most of the publicity goes to Obama. I don't think there are many people in the Netherlands that would go for McCain (or Clinton for hthat matter). This is mainly because he has a better message with regard to foreign relations and policies.

The only thing we hear here from McCain is that he wants to (continue to) fight wars, crush enemies and (more or less) build a very protective and selfish United States...

And we couldn't care less about what church someone went to when he was younger, or that someone smoked a joint (or a sigaret) when he was in the army, or whatever it is that is blown up in the US media.

So I would go for Obama.

Obama can't even pick a normal avarage church. I doubt he could pick any one good for his cabinet or any governement positions.
