Default Lachesis vs Deathadder

Any mouse guru's out there that know much about these 2?

I currently have a Lachesis(4000dpi lolololol) and I must say, it is an awesome mouse. Perfectly accurate, perfect size(for me), very smooth, and the drivers are easy. The only problem that I have with it is this: At random times, it will either stop responding in one direction for a few seconds, for instance sometimes I can't look right for 3-4 seconds. And sometimes, the cursor takes a mind of its own, and kinda spins in small circles even if I don't tell it to. These problems don't happen very often at all, but me being a chump who lives to win in video games, these few times are to much.

So what I was wondering, is there anyone here who owns, or has owned a Razer Deathadder? How does it compare to the Lachesis if so?

I have a lachesis and used to get what you're talking about, later I found out that it was due to some dust and such where the optical thing is and cleaning that quickly sorted the problem. You should check to see if the same is happening to you before forking out for another mouse.

Meh, G5/G9 FTW.

At any rate, the first things you do when your mouse stops working:
Clean it!
DL Drivers
Replace Batteries
Try a different Port

Hm. I actually just ordered a Lachesis, but now I'm kinda getting cold feet. Anyone know if there's a common problem with them like mentioned? Panda, have you tried cleaning yours and if so has it helped?
