GameStrafe IRC

Okay, I know this has been done before, but we're going to try it again.

I have created an IRC channel on the GameSurge network.

Server: gamesurge.net
Channel: #gamestrafe

You guys can all download a free copy of an IRC client at:
mIRC: Internet Relay Chat client or Gamers.IRC- get satisfied!

Here is how to use it:

1. Download the client.
2. Install the client (really simple and straight forward)
3. Connect to a Gamesurge server (it should be on the server list)
4. Register an account at GameSurge >> Register Authserv Account
5. You should receive and email allowing you to complete the registration
6. Then go to File > Select Server > Option > Perform, type in your authserv account (should look like /authserv auth NAME PASSWORD) and on the next line type in /join #gamestrafe
7. Now, after that, you should hit connect and it will automatically log you onto the the gamesurge network and allow you to join the gamestrafe channel. If in the case it doesn't, simply type in /join #gamestrafe again.

If anyone has any questions with IRC let me know via PM, xfire, or email. We're doing this to build a bigger stronger community and if we allow other IRC users to know we exist, our community can thrive.

I don't think this will help you find us in game... IRC is just a chat program, it's nothing like x-fire where you can see what game who is playing... BUT, it does allow people to find scrims, talk to fellow clan-mates, talk to other teams easily because almost every hardcore clan uses this program.
