Default How would our very own browser game look like?

Say we could agree (or the majority could) on a web game. What would it's content be? How would it look like?

If this goes anywhere halfway productive, i might actually code it at one point (after GameStrafe is up and running properly).

Hmmm... well we've all posted a flash game of some type at one point or another but in the last 2 weeks with civilization sims like minicity and CyberNations I think those have been the biggest hit. I mean we're even thinking of opening a seprate forum for CN. SO I guess a game with major replayablity and were you have a major hand in how things turn out, would be the best type of game to make if you want it to last.

I think cybernations is great but the interface is what makes or breaks the popularity of a game. If you had a more intuitive control panel along with integration into Google earth that would stomp CN into the dust

And animation. CN is so text based with only a few pictures. If we had animation/video/flash anything woyuld help draw the crowd away from CN adn into our game. Along with more things to do. CN only takes 5min a day which would make it a easy game to forget about. But say every couple hours was a day(or year idk the exact real-life time to in-game time ratio. Then we would a more active community and more interesting game play. Plus even if you did spend five minutes a day on our version of CN you would have a greater increase in intrest on your collectable tax. Leting your gov grow faster and be stronger.

Quantum Star was fun until you learned how to hack the code and exploit the bugs . . .

The start of the game is extremely slow in CN. And yeah the interface is horrible.

So a better interface, maybe more stuff to do once a day. Should it be present day nations? Future stuff? Maybe planets.. Or something of the past with knights and horses...

If you make it in the future we could have more fun making up the "political" issues of the game.

Yeah , but I think part of the fun of CN is the real world simulation: People like representing countries/places that they know.

You can still have countries and places in the future that you know now and are real today, you just have more advanced technology and superbeer!

Edit: I am really considering doing something like that. I would hook it into the forums user db, so if you got an account here, you can login and play right away. And I would develop it slowly letting you guys see all steps along the way and listen to input from anyone who cares to give it. It wouldn't be nice or pretty to begin with (or resemble a game for that matter) but be a growing thing.

or making fun OF political issues... i think it should be in the future rather than in the past...there should be more things to do in a day rather than:collect taxes, pay bills, get infrastructure, land, and military...
and maybe more "resources"...

one question... will this be free or do u have to pay for it? if its free then we surely need a donation box... if its paid, then we need to think of prices

The question is then, what more is there to do? Ideas?

And it would be free. Maybe a donation box with one time bonuses.
