Default The Chronicles of Narnia, anyone see the preview.

I saw Star Wars for the second time at a different theater and they had a preview for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It looks awsome. I remember reading all these books as a child and I cant wait to see this movie comming out this christmas. It looks like they are going to do the entire series. YES.

Take that Harry Potter.

I hate Harry Potter, and I think that there is a sixth book coming out too. That lady is just getting greedy!

There are supposed to be 7 in all. (talking about Harry Potter) When is the 6th book comming out? I never thought much about HP unitll I started reading the first book at work out of boredom. Im not really a "reader" but I read all of those books within a few months and when the last one came out I found myself in line to buy one the day it came out. Ill admit it. I like the Harry potter books. The first two were ok, they were short, 3, 4 and 5 are really good.

I think The Lion.... will make better movies though. With Disney involved I dont see them being bad.

Yea....the Chronicles of Narnia are by CS Lewis......

Secondly....The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe is a great book....i was in a children's theatre production...I was Mr. Beaver. No joke...I seriously was. Anyway....there are 7 books in the Chronicles of Narnia. I prefer Prince Caspian and The Silver Chair.....better books. Reepacheep the warrior rat was cool....he had a rapier. Read um...check the movie.

O! and lion is like the second book is the second book in the series....they skip The Magician's Nephew liek 6 times....

I dont think I finished the 5th book. I need to re-read it, I dont remember what really happened. So the 4th book was the goblet of fire right? Thats my favorite one so far. It should make a really cool movie if they really try to fit it all in. I hope they dont cut too much out. It is a lot longer than the first 3 books. I believe its as long as the first few put together. I cant believe I ever finished it.

I think this will be good. I ead the book a while back and it didn;t strike me as terribly hard to make a movie out of.

you nailed the best books in the series, although i'd add 'the horse and his boy' to that... it was my favorite book for a long time as a kid.

they always skip the magician's nephew. i'm pulling the books out of my library to re-read the series, and they had the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe labelled as the first book in the series! not even the worst part: on the back, it lists the entire chronicles, in order... and to change the lion, the witch and the wardrobe to the first, they had to tape over the cover where it says "Book 2".
