I just got back from seeing Sith. It was, surprisingly, better than Episode II, which was rather....lacking.
The dialogue in Sith had its ups and downs...almost all dialogue between Anakin and Padme was...a complete waste of time. The fight sequences were well orchestrated, but lacked the speed I loved in Episode I (the fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul).
Mace Windu dies...

. No offense to Samuel, but I just can't watch him as a 'Jedi Master'...during the scenes with him, I half expected him to scream 'motha-f***a' and 'bit*h'. Anyone who has seen Pulp Fiction or Shaft, can understand what I am saying.
Great intro...somewhat dizzying, but a thrill all-around. Count Doodoo..err..Dooku dies rather swiftly (thank God). The character of General Grievous was somewhat silly, but made for an entertaining 'bad-guy' character.
Episode III was as great as it was because it finally breached the gap between Episodes I, II, and III with episodes IV, V, and VI. After watching Ep. III, I now understand the Star Wars saga a lot better.
While some people, many parents especially, have complained about the considerably darker nature of the film, I found it to be a welcome change. The 'gore' that parents complained about wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. Sure, limbs are lost, but it's done very....low-key. It's not Kill Bill-ish.
All in all, I have to give this film its dues; I was very impressed and satisfied and entertained.
One of the complaints I have about 'Sith' is that Jar Jar had a speaking line. It would have been kinda nice if Samuel did a Pulp Fiction thing where he slices-up Jar Jar with a lightsaber while yelling "...whose the bad motha-f***a now bi*ch?"
....I can dream I suppose....
