Many programmers and scripters obtain a text editor, and stick with it throughout most of their projects. However, many times the editor they use does not have all the featuers that they want, and they don't know where to look. Well, look no further. Below is a compiled list of popular text editors, with scripters in mind. They are listed in alphabetical order, with links to the website, and (if applicable) any screenshots of it. Each will also carry a short description of the application, taken from the official website.
