Would anyone be interested in helping my with FTP. My Internet WILL NOT upload through an FTP. Any help appreciated.

Get an ftp client like filezilla is what I use.

Check your internet options for security and turn it to medium.

Some information about your internet setup would help.

Proxy, firewall, etc.

No FireWall at this moment except for my router. Not sure about a proxy.

Do you get a connection to the FTP server? If so then do you get any errors when trying to upload a file?

Your router has a built-in firewall ? Which router ? Its possible (but unlikely) that your outbound FTP port is blocked.

I believe its a Linksys. Not sure about the firewall though. I just thought it had one. Its a spensive one

Most good home ADSL routers have a firewall, try & see if there is a configuration program for it, quite often you can configure routers by a webpage (e.g. mine is http://192.168.0.1/) try opening that in a browser & see if your router config pops up. Then try switching off the firewall & test the FTP again. Remember to turn the firewall back on after

I'm trying to upload to FTP right now, its working, but its going really slow. I'm using CuteFTP

How slow? you need to give people more information, vague descriptions leaves people having to guess.

Well, I got it to work. So I dont need help. Now just to get my site big. I found an awesome Forum system as good as VB. If you wanna check it out, and admins im not advertising, Assaulted Network - Index Hopefully tommorow itll be my regular domain name.

Just tried it, I get a connection to your site but it takes a long time loading the page and then I get a "Connection reset" error from the server. Sounds like your host is having problems.

The site was fine for me, it may just be where your located the internet infrastructure wasn't exactly thought out.

G-Fire25 good choice on forum software SMF is one of the best imo.
