1981 Pontiac Trans Am with 455.

Also a manual, so yes, I can drive manual.

Most interesting car I've ever driven had a 3 on the tree.

Yep, both on the right and on the left side of the road. Manual gearing is not difficult, just make sure you watch the rev counter (or listen to the motor) and shift on time.

I love cruise control, espescially on the longer trips. I'm driving a ford mondeo wagon (new model). Not fancy, but has all the luxury and space I want and need.

So, I was wondering, can you drive a stick shift?

I can. Most cars here only have manual transmission, automatic is a luxury. As a matter of fact, I prefer a stick shift to a manual shift, except maybe in the mountains.
It's the other way around over here in the USA. 90 percent of cars come standard with an auto swapper, mainly because we're too lazy to use our left foot.

Then again, i've owned 3 cars with a manual cog swapper and 2 with an auto (auto Corvette 6spd btw). I'd only prefer an auto if i was a total lazy ass.

Haha, nice lingo there.. But its the same here 90% of cars come with auto as standard, you actually have to ask if you want a manual. Lots are also coming with semi-auto which includes clutchless manual, tiptronic/paddles
