Ford/Shelby & Hertz bring back 'rent-a-racer' history

After 40 years, Ford/Shelby teamed up with Hertz to bring back one of the most collectible muscle cars, being the Shelby GT350H (now Shelby GT-H). Only 500 will be built and offered through select Hertz rental centers. Outside of the obvious Shelby exterior treatment will be added performance (V8 320hp with 330 llbs-ft torque) and an upgraded suspension package. All of that will be controlled by a 5 speed automatic (so anyone can drive it off the lot).

I for one am definitely looking forward to this car. I love the Mustang and as history shows, the GT350H/GT-H is one of the most sought after cars of all time. To drive such an iconic car would be a dream... Dare I say this is better than the upcoming Shelby GT500 ?? And FYI, Autoweek's most recent poll says more people want to drive this car than a new Benz, Audi TT, and a Bentley. That's saying something.
