Default 2/21/06 A very sad day indeed.

I really do not need to say much here. The pics. will tell the story. This is the result of a 200mph Enzo crash that occurred 2 days ag o in Cali.
The good new is, both the driver and passenger survived with only minor injuries.

Here you go.

Guy deserves losing his car like that for going 200 mph. I'm praying to god he does not have insurance for that baby.

Seems they were lucky to be going that fast, the arse end seems to have just sheared off in what ever impact happened leaving the cabin untouched. I don't think that would have happened at lower speeds. But damn, wouldn't he feel like a dickhead, I think the owner of Ferrari should ring him and tell him so.

I'd still take it in that condition...

"I have half of an Enzo and half of the engine... Yea... It was grinded halfway down when it slid about half a mile."

Ugh........ Don't remind me. I almost cried when i saw this on the news . lol :-p. But seriously, that's horrible! I heard the driver was dumb though and scooted over to the passenger's seat so he wouldn't get caught drinking and driving... And the other car was a Mercedes-McLaren SLR... Thank goodness that survived...

Other enzo owners have got to be rubbing their hand together thinking "1 down, 398 to go".

One of the guys at work was telling me about this, pretty crazy to think the guy only had minor injuries. On a side note, I've driven down that road in that same spot hundreds of times.

^^^

It does look like a good racing road... I can't blame him. If I had an Enzo on a road like that... Hahah... Yea.

Were they drag racing or something? And what did they guy get hit by? Another car? Truck? And if they were racing, and it was for pink slips, what's the other guy going to do?

No one races for pinks*. Forget everything you've heard in The Fast and The Furious movies.

*- Unless it's on that show 'Pinks'...
