Why I haven't been posting much lately

First off, a big thank you to Pops for the assist

And check out the pic for my purchase. A 2005 2500HD with 14k miles. Such a sweet deal on an awesome truck. The only problem- it's in Kentucky. But that will soon be fixed.

I'm not going to post how much I paid, but I will say that it was so cheap that other dealers in the country that we were talking with are in disbelief!

Been taking all of my spare time at work, which is why I haven't been posting much. Hopefully, though, the deal is pretty much done and I can go back to posting.

Why is that, I wonder?

Why spend the extra money on a 4x4, just to put some enormous rims and rubber-band tires on it? Quite obvious the rougest terrain it will ever see is the spped bump at the mall. And since they lowered it, too (plus, lowering a 4x4 is more expensive and harder to do right, but these guy are probably just cutting springs and other stupidness) it won't be able to make it over them.

There used to be a lowered Jeep Wrangler with 20s in my town. Not kidding. Haven't seen it in a while, so hopefully it self-destructed.
