Default Bugatti: 1,001 horsepower, $1.24 million...

I guess if you have the cabbage, pick one of these up.

The last I heard, you need special high-speed tires to run it at 250+mph. Plus, they neglected to do their homework and made a car that looked 'cool' in their eyes, had a big engine, and placed a 252mph label on it before aerodynamically testing it, and according to the article, they neglected to check the engine durability as well.... Yes, I don't like the car :-p. Haha. If only they were more like Mercedes/McLaren and did their homework... They could've had a car worth waiting a few years for...

Porsche and Ferrari....those are the two for me.

Bugatti...HA! Sounds like some kind of bagel spread.

Rich guy 1: Hey Charles...guess what! I had some Bugatti on my bagel this morning. Absolutely delightful.

Rich guy 2: Oh my, that sounds fantastic!

Rich girl 1: Yeah, I love it with my whole grain all-natural fruit drink.

................Bugatti, the bagel spread of choice!.................

Well all your points are noted in the article in regards to previous prototypes of this car. Doesn't mean that they have been fixed.. .But it doesn't mean that it they haven't, either.

But yeah, it is ugly and too expensive. They actually plan on making money on these?

Not really. Hit a butterfly and end up in a heap of wreckage smaller than a can of tuna. F that. What I need is something to get from A to B, cheap on gas and insurance. Bugatti = not that.

I dont mean to own. Just to like rent or borrow for a day to drive around real fast. You're not a real man if you dont want to drive around real fast. :-p

Remember this? Yeah... You can scrap every bit of it. I was an idiot. Haha :LMAO:.

I just read an online Car and Driver article (http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=5)... And let me just say... When you see 253 mph observed during a test run... You can't help but pick your mouth up off the floor. Twice. This car IS the real deal. Bugatti did all their homework. From technology (gearbox) to aerodynamics (raising/lowering ride height, aerodynamic flaps...), the Veyron is the fastest, and possibly quickest, production car ever built. Regardless if you like the design or not, you gotta give Bugatti props for this one. Lots of props...

I've drove at 140 and that's enough for me. I'd rather pay a million for a McLaren that looks nice and goes faster than that.

(I know a McLaren only goes 242. Re-program the chip out and it goes 260+)
