Default Best Selling Vehicles....So far this year.

I honestly can't believe Ford has sold so many of the Ford F-Truck series. I've seen a lot of them, but never thought they were quite that popular. The Explorer isn't a surprise or most of the sedans.

1. Ford F-Series
407,754

2. Chevrolet Silverado
384,228

3. Toyota Camry
216,607

4. Dodge Ram
195,919

5. Honda Accord
176,232

6. Honda Civic
140,903

7. Ford Explorer
134,760

8. Nissan Altima
130,476

9. Dodge Caravan
126,270

10. GMC Sierra
126,181

Honestly, my Ford Explorer was great for me. It was used and my first car, I got it right when I turned 16. It was still running well at 150,000 miles, although I've heard a lot of horror stories about Ford.

How old was it though? The older ones are pretty reliable, honestly, my "dad" had a Ford when I was little that was like 20 years old and it still ran fine... but then he bought a new one and had all sorts of issues with it.

I love car names. I can see the creators looking through a thesaurus.

It was a 1995 Ford Explorer. I got it in 2002 from a friend of my dads. It had about 100,000 miles on it. I paid a grand for it. I paid 500 and my dad paid 500. Never had a problem with it, other than taking it in for normal tuneups.

95 was like the last good year for Ford trucks... they went downhill after that.

There are no better cars, of the more economic market than foreign. Toyota, Honda, Nissan, VW are far better cars than that of Ford, all GM brands, Dodge (crap), etc. There's no comparison. Durability, options, the whole nine. Foreign cars are the bomb! I was anti-foreign and all American back in the teens but...after far less maintenance and a whole lot of money saved on gas, auto parts, and maintenance.........whoooh, never will I go back to American.

well it's like, people can argue all you want about "They're all machines" or "support workers in your own country" [Toyota makes 90% of their stuff now in the US with US parts, btw] and crap like that, but having had 2 American cars and 200,000 miles on one (around) and only 100,000 on another (both have had loads of problems, compared with the foreign cars of similiar years and prices that have been in the family), it's really NOT funny when your car has problems or things mess up or basically you have to unload the $$$$$

they don't get any better, their specific cars in their class. Only for the hybrids, which have been selling very well, only reason Toyota Prius wasn't in at least top 4, Toyota only has one small plant at this point to produce them and their is a waiting list of over 100,000.
