I reinstalled GTA3 a little while back and this has been a favourite mod I have for it.

It's called RealGTA and it's basically what it says on the tin.
The cars are replaced by real world models, the weapons are replaced by real life variants and are more effective against enemies.

Some normal cars:

BMW M3

Mercedes-Benz C200

MINI Cooper S

Even an F16 (Fighting Falcon)

Loads of buildings replaced aswell with realworld stuff, MacDonalds, PizzaHut, Shell and loads more.

Some things are better done than others and the handling of the big trucks is a little funky but this is easily the best mod package for this game.
