I just noticed when Simon Moon linked to it in one of his topics.

Advanced real-time physics, and all new network code support large-scale military combat for up to 24 players through real-world locations, including deserts, glaciers, mountains, and countryside.

The maximum player count is not 24 players, 24 players is only the recommended player count. I an not 100% sure if there is a hard coded max playercount but you can have at least up to 64 players.


And if you want help making an FAQ i cant think of any questions but im good at answering them.

There’s no restriction on the maximum that a server administrator can set, beyond the physical hardware specification of the server itself. As with Wolf ET, we expect that people will run very large servers just for the lemming-like fun of it, but the sweet spot for coordinated teamplay is currently between 16 and 24 players...
