Finally some information on the ETQW Public Beta.

At long last, we are delighted to confirm the impending Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta. The ETQW Closed Beta has been going extremely well and yielding excellent results. We want to give more people the opportunity to give us feedback on the game so we’re going to open a Public Beta with 60,000 slots available. This way we’ll be able to test many more combinations of hardware, RAM, CPU, graphics card, drivers etc. than we’ve been able to ourselves, and also get a better idea of how the game plays for the general gaming public.

I hate fileplanet. This crap of having to pay to get stuff like this SUCKS! O'well hope to get one of the free keys. Fileplant must pay company's to do this exclusive BETA stuff.

maybe so, shouldnt have to pay for anything, such as world of warcraft, paying for the game is understandable, but paying for a subscription is rediculous.

as long as it's worth the money they charge when it releases for retail, unlike some companies *cough*ea*cough*, i'll buy it.

To those who complain about paying for the Beta from fileplanet, look at it this way: It's 50(or 60) bucks to buy the game, its like 8$ for a fileplanet subscription. If it is good, then you just spent 8 more then you wanted to. If the game sucks, you got to try it out, and you saved 52$.
