Played a little bit (after I finally got it downloaded, 11 hours, sheesh) and I gotta say I kinda like this. The game mode feels a lot like the old BF1942:Secret Weapons: Objective Mode games. However, the vehicle controls drive me up the wall.

Likes:
-Game mode, having to complete specific objectives to push foward
-Airlifting in turrets
-Mines!

Dislikes:
-Vehicle controls (the tank is too eager to turn, but the turret doesn't want to)
-"Run-n-gun" gameplay, the reason I like battlefield is because you can't just run around like an idiot and kill, you have to actually do stuff like crouch and aim.
-That *censored* Strogg Jetpack!

I cant blimmin play because the blimin screen fucks up! i can see the HUD and stuf fbut if i want to see anything like the terrain and everything i have to scope with the sniper rifle! ive tried turnin grapfix up and down and stuff, but it doesent work! help me someon XD

Has anyone compared it to 2142, or is there no comparison?

I've only done the demo. To me the graphic are worse, game play is about the same, maybe a little less intuitive. It wasn't as good as 2142, but close to it. It does have a plus, as being from id and not EA/DICE.
