WOW WHAT A HUGE PILE OF SHIT this turned out to be!
Every fucking aspect looks better and feels better in Battlefield 2142:
-weapon models and animations, realistic sway when moving(non-existent here), textures, character animations, gameplay, vehicles...

It's just unbelievable how the hell did they manage to produce this unplayable crap!

Well when you compare apples to oranges what did you expect?
I think its a fun diversion and completely different - I was disappointed in the lack of 'squad' play like they pushed - and the fact that at any given time I was the only medic/technician.

I like it, it's not gonna make me stop playing BF, but it is definitely interesting. I really like the objective based gameplay, but the lack of cooperation can make the game quite difficult if the other team has a clue as to what they are supposed to be doing (Effin Strogg Engineers putting mines AND AP turrets on the shield generator).

It will look like I'm always defending this game,but I also played quite a bit of 2142 and even though it didnt impress me at the beginning ,I still found plenty of things that I liked and did not bash it after just couple days of play.And I came from the fast paced Quake/RTCW/ET scene so it took me a while to adjust.
As KnifeHeavy said,if youre starting from the point view of comparing it with BF series,then you're comparing apples or oranges and the result will be ugly.Instead of going with pre-conceived ideas,keep an open mind and try to understand the game.
When I started playing BF,I liked it precisely because it wasnt another RTCW/ET/QUAKE game,otherwise I would have stayed with the games I already had.Same thing with QW.It is not another BF type game,its different and it stands on its own for that.Would you honestly want another 2142 with different skins?
If you dont have the patience to honestly learn and try it out,then you'll be losing on the experience end.

well, if another 2142 with different skins would include better animations, better weaponhandling/designs, better movement, less lag, better vehicle movement, better gdf design, better fps vs graphics, better teamplay then yes.

Still there are a few thing i like in QW, stuff like the Flyerdrone (even if its slow as hell) and the Gunships, but thats it. Infantry combat is just another jump'n'gun fest, and the vehicles drive like shit, i mean look how the tank moves... and tank, yes tank, why the fuck can you kill a fucking tank with a fucking assaultrifle?


And well, guess what? i came from UT2004 eXcessive to BF2142, i did hate every other bf game, but loved bf2142 since the first videos. But QW, it just doesnt make sence to me...

Hated bf2 and the others, and loved 2142, notice loved...have lost interest in it now although i have a clan on their with servers, tried QW, pile of crap, nothing special, love the cannon fire and stuff like you said, flyer drone, like the hacking tool, but its shocking how crap the vehicles are, they is NOTHING new to the graphics what so ever, its old graphics, they should have released it at end of 2006 when they said they were going to.

It would have possibly competed against 2142 better, as it doesnt have a cat in hells chance when cod4 and crysis come out.
