Beta signups open to non-subscribers!

Wow; this is either a glitch or a typo. Navigate to Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars on FilePlanet and click "Join the Beta". Enter your info and enter the CAPTCHA, then receive your key and download the open beta client. I'm not a subscriber, and I got a key, which is weird because there are "Subscribers only!" notices all over the page. I didn't even sign in to fileplanet...

Bleh, I'm on vent with about five guys having the same problem as me. The closed beta client works fine for everyone, but when I tried to type in my key in the open beta client, I got a "Canceled" message. It then prompted me to login, and I got "Unknown error"...

the plan all along was first 3 days for subs and next 2 for all

Works for me now.

...but I get about 10fps...
Time to upgrade my 6800XT to that 7950GT I should've gotten in the first place...

Turn your AF down. Even the "low" settings has AF and other silly features turned on. Running full quality here at 1280x1024 60fps constant.

ctrl+alt+~ for console

com_unlockfps 1
com_unlock_maxfps 60 or higher.

I'm running a 6800XT clocked at 468/1250. Only 8PP and 4 shaders, though. I also have two gigs of OCz Gold DDR400, and an Intel P4 3.4GHz HT Prescott. It's either reformat time for me, or I need a new rig. I might go with the latter, just because it'll mean higher framerates with higher quality.
