RTCW:Enemy Territory

I was just curious to see how many here have played the original W:ET or RTCW.Since the game is going to be based around ET,but with some elements from BF as well it seems it will attract a lot of new players.

W:ET is still one of my favourite games. Its just so fun when you are playing it with friends!

I downloaded it and played it in hopes of learning how it worked.....it was kinda weird TBH, didn't like it all that much. I couldn't stand the fact that I only started with 30 bullets(wtf?) as medic.

ET has a different learning curve since its totally different than other games out there.The action happens faster,its concentrated in a certain area on the map depending on the objective and most players by now know all the details and workarounds to complete the objectives.But,theres no better feeling when you have a nice Fireteam and everyone is doing their job.Medic/soldier providing cover,covie sabotaging the barriers and then engies finishing the job.If you would like to give it another shot,stop by our server sometimes.Just open the console ~ and then type /connect allied.aci.on.ca Its usually busy from 7PM EST till about 12-1 AM and mostly regulars and mature people.The level of skill is decently high since its ETPro and most regulars have been playing for years on competition level,but its still very objective oriented and fun.
