I pre-ordered few weeks back and now after playing beta I wish I didn't!!!

It is worth the money, but don't listen to the people who make comparisons of this game and Battlefield. The only way they are alike is that they both have a squad system, both have a class system, and both have vehicles. The gameplay is the absolute opposite of Battlefield. It is fast paced, spray your gun action. Whereas BF is slow, take time, stop and aim.

Saying the gameplay of BF and QW is similar is like saying FEAR and America's Army are similar.

So to conclude, if you don't like fast paced games, you won't like this.

If youre coming from BF style games and havent played Q3/4,RTCW or ET type games before or at least for a while, QuakeWars will probably seem shocking to most.The biggest complaint seems to be the speed,and the biggest whiners about that are usually people that play slower tactical games.I prefer faster paced games because I dont have to wait for action.Its right there after I respawn.When QW is finally polished and ready for release,it will be one hell of a game IMO.The balance is pitch perfect,and if both teams know what they are doing,there will be plenty of nail bitter rounds.

The game is already great.. Aside from SOME crashes (once in 20 rounds XD), and the hit detection its almost perfect!

Speed = fine

It's the small things that annoy me.

1. I didn't realise you had to have perfect aim with a shotgun in close quarters, scatter rifles tend to well you know...scatter.

2. Sucky old fire team system.

3. Missions? Missions are just silly you can give exp for those actions being performed anyway, why should you have to select one?

4.Vehicle physics...

Sure it's all the good things from ET the problem is it doesn't really bring anything new or groundbreaking for that matter. I'm sure the ET fags love it, I know they do on my local lan forums.

i agree, i do like the equipment such as a third eye, and stuff, which is very cool! and the dark matter is *i would swear, but im not going to* awesome!

Main thing what makes it disapointing is that it really hasnt changed from enemy territory, at all. I wasn't too big of a fan of that, but who knows what this will be like when released.
