Theres actually a game missing there and that's the team play version of Q3. Focused around CTF and some other thing I'll try and find the box. Then of course the old missions packs.

I own Q4, but have played Q1 and Q2, just never bought them.

Never played Q3 but played countless games based on the Q3 engine.

Talking about Quake 4, it had the potential to become a great game, they just failed to live up to that potential.

For example, when running around with your big arsenal, you can't really decide what weapon to use, it annoys the hell out of me.

An enemy right infront of you and you cant decide what gun to shoot his head off with, ah... the classic battlefield complication. lol

Seriously, when there are no enemies around you are like, "shit, what gun would be best in the situation that they will pop up"

Shotty? What if they come in from afar?
Railgun? What if they come close and/or in great numbers?

So, meh.

In previous Quakes, ammo limits would force you to select a weapon.

Well in situations like that just chose a random weapon and hope you dont get shot, and when you run out of ammo for the switch to another "Randomly" selected weapon and so forth, Eliminates the need of chosing.

Offcourse this is my sarcasm speaking as in real life you might be stuck in a situation where a sniper is needed and your dumb luck proves you unworthy and you select a Pistol.
