Default Looking Forward to Quake Wars

I'm a regular poster over in the 2142 area here at Fever, and I have a pretty big interest in Quake Wars as well. In fact I intend to migrate to Quake Wars when it comes out. I mainly just wanted to say hello over here, and I hope a few of the 2142 regulars make it over this direction as well.

Hello there Tecova. Glad you could join us. Im sure alot more people will migrate when the beta and demo are released. The game is expected to be a big hit amongst the FPS/bf franchise shooters.

I don't like my chances of getting into any beta, as I don't even know how I'd go about it, but it doesn't diminish my excitement. The image I have in my head is of a cross between Battlefield and Team Fortress, with stat tracking done right.

Hey everyone.Just wanted to say Hi to this section of Fevergaming.I started playing 2142 so I can kill my time between ET and waiting for ET:QW to come out, since thats what I've been waiting for exclusively.Since the Pre-order is out,I believe a lot of people will jump ship and come QW side.It sure looks like a great game.

Ring them and ask? The whole process of pre-ordering video games just allows EB to be lazy bastards when it comes to ordering numbers.

I buy online these days, get the goods on release or one day after usually.

I always just buy my games in store the day it comes out, pre-ordering just guaranties that you will get your copy later than the others from my experience with it.

I don't know about Iceland, but every game I've preordered(5 now) has been on my doorstep when I got home from work/school the day of release. One of them even showed up a day early(BF:2142 ) because I pre-ordered. If you don't believe that, check my soldier creation date compared to others. wtf.panda

When I have ordered from Gameplay, they deliver a couple days earlier than the release.

If you pre-order it online, then you'll have to wait for the package and the code and delay the possibility to reserve your desired name, which is the only benefit of pre-ordering the game.Get it from your local EB games, easier.
