What class will you play?

Hi guys!

What class do you guys plan on playing as mainly? I was thinking of GDF Medic and Strogg Technician, since I find playing as medic was most fun in BF2142.

I expect that the teamwork play will be better than that of battlefield for medics. I still have no desire in playing the medic classes and am equally looking forward to playing the others.

No idea. What ever needs to be played. I remember I liked being covert ops. Taking the other teams uniform was awesome...

I love playing as sniper, so maybe something to do with recon. Like Fate said teamwork will probably be a big plus for this game, and whats a team without a sniper in the back picking off the enemy while your guys make it to the enemy base

Very true. Still, I'm sort of a medic fan. I like watching out for my mates and making sure they're on their feet when the going gets tough. I played ETQW at the Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig and playing as medic was definitely a lot of fun. Didn't actually play as any other class to be honest. Except of course as Strogg Technician in the next round.

By the way, I'm likely to be one of very few people on these forums who has actually played ETQW. W00t to me!!!

For me I'm probably going to play the Field Ops... I love the ability to set up remote weaponry.. waltz up to the battlefield take cover, get out the good ol binocs and lay into everything. Watching the videos, it looks like thats the easiest way to take out multiples of the enemy and get points all while staying relatively safe.

I'm probably gonna go with medic. For the last few weeks ive been playing BF2 mostly as medic and i grown to love it. But it really comes down to how effective each class is on the battlefield.

btw, i love that ETQW Fever is online.

reading the stuff makes me somehow sure that it will be a vehicle whoring game deluxe that makes bf2 looking like kindergarden, so i will go with the class that has the best chances against vehicles -> engineer baby!

I think I'll go with what ever class has some guns that go pew pew. So I really don't know what class that is...but at this point its too early to say what class i'll play on but we'll find out once we get the game.
