Default Night Vision or Adjust Lighting

So, with so many maps as dark as they are do you use night vision? Or have you adjusted your lighting?

My Thoughts:

I started off using night vision and for some maps it is nearly perfect (shipment?). But I felt the depth/FOV was so limited. So I adjusted my lighting and now hardly ever use night vision. The only downside I've found is that it seems to make the marines blend in really well with the sandstone walls and the rebels with more "decorated" brick backgrounds.

i think the map youre talking about is "wet works"... at least thats the one on the ship.

as for lighting... for me, its a nice feature, but a bit inconvenient. i like how its an advantage to use night vision, but i havent found a convenient way to press the nightvision button. its way out there on the keyboard, and i used all my mouse buttons for more used-functions like pulling out your pistol, your grenade, or calling uav.

I never use nightvision. It's a waste of time. Psylent, why not use the default key N for it? Or did you bind something else to N? agger.

I have a lighter lighting on mine, probably the only time I have ever used N in a fps was in 2142 to zoom in on the minimap...

All I do is reach my alien sized fingers to it. LoL. Which is never unless I'm on zombie mod.

Then you need to check your screen settings, as I find a lot of these maps really dark.
Maybe I need to check mine . . . after all, my 21" CRT is only about 9 yrs old now. LOL
