Double Tap Or Stopping power

Has anyone figured out which is more beneficial ?

I have tried both, and can't figure out which one gives me a better result.

I guess it depends on the weapon, so if you have figured it out, which weapon do you use which for?

Depends on what weapon really.. But DoubleTap definately beats EVERYTHING.

Double tap P90 + ACOG = rape, and a stopping power M16 red dot is just as rape.

imo, if youre using double tap, youre going to need bandolier, cuz youll find yourself running out of ammo pretty quickly.

Man... It's all about the m16 stock with no perks, iron sight ftw.

I have both and have tested them a bit, I think it depends on the recoil of the gun and how close your target is.

But in reality, I think stopping power may edge it out either way.

I've been using the shorty AK (SMG) alot, and I would really like to know how both double tap and stopping power calculate out. Is the damage increase a percentage or a fixed value? Same with double tap?

I am starting to think that simply having double tap makes a single bullet do less damage than not having it, but I have yet to test it.

What makes me come up with that theory is that it seems like (and looks according to the hit cursor) with double tap, I can get an amazing amount of hits on target at close range, without it, they die long before I get those amazing amount of hits, and the time frame they die in is about the same.

i dont really like the ak smg(ak-74u) its recoil is just to high

depends on map and mode for me. I like double with the m16, and stopping with the full auto's.

Does double tap even work on M16's? Never seen any difference.

Maybe not, I figured it did as I tend to run out of ammo faster. Maybe it's a mental thing. In my mind i figured I got two bursts per press. I'm a good retard though so I may be wrong.
