5 Battlefield Games In Development

Ben Cousins, executive producer at DICE confirmed that they are working on five titles in the Battlefield franchise. We know that they are working on Battlefield Heroes and of course the soon-to-be-released Battlefield: Bad Company, you have to wonder what the other three are.

But the team is also at work on three other games based on the series, including a traditional core game aimed at consoles, and a new collaboration with Neowiz specifically for the Korean market. "Since the start of this year I've been working as executive producer for the entire Battlefield franchise - we've got five titles in development at the moment, which is probably more than you expect," Cousins told the GDC Paris audience during his keynote presentation.

A new Battlefield 2 patch was announced recently, celebrating BF2's third birthday. Not sure if they might be referring to that. It's nice to know they're not letting the Battlefield franchise sit idle, either way.

In an interview from DICE I read earlier today that they've got some things in the works and they haven't forgotten about the hardcore PC players.

I would think this means that Battlefield 3 or something like it is in the works.

i dont care about patches for BF2 & BF2142 i just want to play Battlefield 3
