Our Stuart Honey is modeled from a U.S. M3A1 Stuart and is skinned in a British "caunter"style camouflage pattern and represents a tank from the British 7th Amoured division, 8th Hussars.

The M3 Stuart, known to the British as Stuart I or Honey (it was a "Honey" of a tank), was an evolution of the American M2 light tank. The new M3 Stuart incorporated thicker armor, lengthened hull, and an extra trailer idler wheel to act as another road wheel to decrease ground pressure and improve weight distribution. The Honey was provided starting in 1941 to the British as part of the Lend-Lease program. Due to its ease of maintenance, reliability and speed, the tank was well received and well liked by its British operators, who gave it the nickname "Honey." The tank was armed with a 37mm main gun, and several .30cal turret and coaxial machine guns. However by 1942 the Honey was becoming obselete; outranged and outgunned by newer German tanks. The narrow width of the Honey chassis made fitting a larger main gun difficult. These difficulties eventually saw the Honey take on reconnaissance or command roles, rather than front line combat.
