ARE PROUD TO PRESENT THE FIRST EVER CAL DCON TOURNAMENT
That's right the time has finally arrived. It's time to kick off the first ever Caleague BF2 DCON Prize Tournament. Round one is slated to start June 5th. Team Captains/Managers need to ensure that all team members have proper GUIDS in place prior to June 5th, when rosters will be locked. If a team member dose not have a correct PB GUID in place prior to the rosters locking, that individual will not be permitted to participate in the tournament.
The 10v10 format will be play in a double elimination style. Tickets are to the be set at 75% with a time limit of half an hour. The upper brackets can be found at CAL :: Brackets :: DCon Tourney. Once again, preseason had no effect on the lineups for the tournament and the seeding was completely random.
The map list will consist of
1. June 5 (73 Eastings)
2. June 12 (Gazala)
3. June 19 (Lost Village)
4. June 26 (Jalalabad 32)
5. July 3 (Desert Shield) ----Lower Division Only
6. July 3 (Zatar)------------Lower Division Only
7. July 10 (El Alamein) FINALS
The Lower Division semi-finals and finals will BOTH be played on July 3rd. The tickets will be set at 50% to create a "Shootout to the Championship". If necessary the second match can be played on another day during the week if both teams agree due to scheduling issues. This is to ensure the smoothness of the tournament. The upper division winner will have a one week break. The overall championship will be between the lower and upper divison winners in standard play on El Alamein.
