Do you have to finish a map for the points to stay?

And no, you don't have to finish the map....otherwise tking would be rampant....

Go in, tk, kill or supply or heal or revive one guy and it counts....

Go in for two seconds and two seconds are added to your total time playing....

its very vague...for me ..its like somtimes it counts ur score..sometimes it doesnt..but i believe that u dont have to stay cuz when uleave a server.and rejioin..u have ths ame score..so if it saves it when u leave..it should save it for when the round ends

Trust me, you don't I am 100% certain...

The stats aren't counted up until the map ends...but you can leave and never come back and they will still count no matter what.....

I'm not too sure Alcorr.....This one time I played in this server for 50 minutes with 203 points and left because I had to get off.....I checked the next day and they weren't there.

Whilst on topic, if i'm commanding & i get a connection error & Bf2 closes what happens to the command points because at the end of the round it will show that we had no commander.

You don't have to finish the round to get your points. Say you earn a badge and then leave the round, it will just take a while for the badge to be updated into your BFHQ. Just because it doesn't appear there instantly doesn't mean it's never going to appear.

Yeah your desktop crashing, told the BF2 stat servers not to log your score.

What might have happened is that the server itself crashed (or was re-booted by an admin) before the round finished; that way no one's scores would have counted.
