When you Install, Fresh off your CD what do you get ? or the Lowest level you can get to wish some 'stealing' or borrowing from friends.

BF1942 fresh install would be 1.00 probably, but if your all doing a fresh install you'll all have the same version won't you.

Not Quite, Depending on when you bought BF42, it will give you a different version.

download and burn a few copies of a CD that contains all the patches, have everyone patch up to the latest version.... 1.61 i think.

But it sure would be nice to leave it up in here, it is the predecessor to such a fine game (if you want to call it that) and this part of the board gets much more views than the other parts. If it would have been in OT, I'd of never read this or knew about it

I would play if it was anything higher than 1.2. Since.....there's no hit indicators pre-1.2.

The 1.0 physics sucked. The game had didn't really feel complete until the 1.3 patch. The 1.4 patch introduced the CRC check, 1.45 fixed the superman bug introduced by the 1.4 patch. The 1.61 patch is a good patch and pretty balanced imo.
