Thumbs up Give it a try, its AWESOME!
I know this MOD has been talked about extensively on these forums. I just wanted to share with some of the new people of the community or those that are not aware of it. If you have not had the pleasure of playing the PRMM (Project Reality) Mod yet then you are really missing out. I was never really into BF1942 mainly because it was a little to “Arcade” for me, I played A LOT of AA (Americas Army). I’m convinced though that the PRMM mod has found the PERFECT balance between gritty realism and fun. If you’re looking for a change of pace and are willing to accept the challenge then I encourage you folks to try this excellent & fun Mod. In my opinion this is everything I wanted BF2 to be.

Here are some very basic features that this mod will demonstrate once released.
- Kill Indicator Removed (e.g. Player A has killed Player B)
- Eliminate Friendly Indicator
-No aim point (MUST use Iron sights)
- Realistic Ballistics (Bullet Drop, Speed, ROF)
- Longer Spawn Times (So hold on to your life)
- Realistic Damage (Goal is that damage to different hitboxes has different outcomes)

on the server(s) that this mod runs on, is it PunkBuster enabled? otherwise, i bet lots of hackers are going to enjoy using their "toys"...

No PB Support & No Ranks (It's a MOD). Hackers get no benifit from being on these servers. Also the gameplay is pretty hardcore and if your not smart you die very quick.

PB is enabled on all the servers if memory serves me. Its defenetly on in the most popular servers.

Not thats its needed because those types of people are shuned in the community and would end up banned from every server anyway.

I played yesterday and there was around 60 people on a 16 player map. It wasn't very fun.

Erm the origonal topic maker with his facts wrong lol.

PB is enabled as ive mentioned and there is infact a stats system running on a couple of the servers specificly the gloryhoundz server. Search the forums for Alternative Battlefield Rank (ABR)

this is just like hostile intent..and i loved that game..except it didnt run so well on my 600mhz geforece2 computer...

but jw...is this one of those mods that uses "set" textures so that anything other than high graphics will look like crap?

anyway, i played it in singleplayer this afternoon, liked it, it did feel a bit laggy and all, and it could definitely use some more tweaking, but i liked it.
only thing is that i can't find servers, ingame serverbrowser displays bf2 games, and ASE doesnt support the mod
