NO NO NO.. get a friggin PC if you wanna do email... you're the type of mac hater that has never used one for what its made to do.... CREATIVITY.... I edit professionally DAILY on both a HP PC workstation AND a Macpro... both are great.. BUT.. the mac is much more stable, as I can do many things at once.. video editing, animation.. plus, out of the box you're up and running in 10 mins doing what ever you want..
yes it has pc hardware, but in a Traditional sense, it harnesses its power alot better than a pc does....
but.. i ran parallels on the macpro and tried to run the demo for 2142, and it didnt work.. the key is to use bootcamp, as it uses all of the computers power to run windows, not just running windows in a window..
I use BOTH macs and PCs.. i prefer PCs for gaming and all the fun with updating and crap... but if you ever REALLY SPENT SOME TIME ON A MAC.. its amazing.. 1 click to update.. no patches, no registry problems.. they just work!
