Default Re: Rumor: Battlefield 3 MMOFPS?

actually since movie tickets are so expensive a lot of people do not go there either, last time i went to the movies was about 8 years ago, its easier to rent the movie later or download it, and anyone can afford a used video projector this days – I paid only $300 for mine (20x movie tickets)

yes $15 is a lot, i think it should not be more then $10/mo, BUT FAIR would be less then $5

it does depend also how much money you make OR how much you have left over after paying for stuff you have to, but even if is a joke - like how many people pay for that .. what possible reason is there for such high prices.. i know is free market, it just angers me that lack of quality competition drove the prices so high

because its clear that the money you pay is PURE profit, the investition + updates/servers are nothing compared to the massive money that comes in some of those games

WOW has currently 7 mill subscribers / $15 / mo = $105 million pro month

I think they overhead cost / month is measured in $1000’s, the rest is profit

here:
According to The New York Times, the WORLD OF WARCRAFT game is on pace to generate over $1 billion in revenue this year alone. Dateline: Thursday, September 7, 2006
